Manaw festival is held only one time in a year in the northern part of Myanmar, Myitkyina, Kachine State. This is especially to celebrate the successful completion of harvesting. Part of this festival is sacrificing bulls to pay homage to their spirits for good business, harvesting and health. All of the colourful tribes from the border of China and the edge of the Himalayas come down specially to celebrate the Manaw festival.
