Chin Festival
Bagan – Mindat – Aye Village – Mt Victoria – Kanpalet

Imagine a people performing a rhythmic dance in unison wearing colorful tribal dress on the floor of a forest! This is what awaits you on Chin National Day. Come and see their sacrificial ceremonies of bulls and chickens and pigs to pay homage to their spirits, the beautiful scenery of the mountains and the attractiveness of these tribal people, their honestly, simplicity and untouched manner. Come and taste their traditional wine on their sacrificial bonfire night and try to learn their bamboo dancing.

Day1 18.Feb.08 Bagan - Mindat (by jeep)
In the morning, tour starts with visiting Phontaung Ponnya situated in the forest on the Western Ranges. You will be taken there from Bagan after having breakfast, firstly across the Ayewarddy river by boat and
you will set out on your journey by Jeep. Lunch at Pontaung Ponnya, a famous cultural site. Then continue to Mindat which is a lovely hill station located 4860 feet above the sea level (7 hours). You will observe, feel and appreciate the pleasant forest decorated with natural trees, wild birds and butterflies while passing through the ranges. Enjoy the chin tribal dance at night. Overnight in Mindat.
 
Day 2 19.Feb.08 Mindat (chin festival day)
For this day, there are lots of program will be going on.Overnight in Mindat.
 
Day 1:Yangon – Homalin
Flight from –Yangon to Homalin. Boat cruise on the Chindwin River, one of the major tributaries of the Ayeyarwaddy River to Htamanthi Village, lunch and refreshments then Leshi by light truck and check into your accommodation. Overnight in Leshi.
 
Day 3 20.Feb.08 Mindat Sightseeing
Min dat and environs explore the Chin traditional and culture. Morning visit to the hill tribes villages such as Num Htaung village, Pan Au village. Visit to rare seen beautiful chin women with their amber beads and lilting songs, playing the nose flute. Observe their tradition and their ways of life. Overnight in Mindat.
 
Day 4 21.Feb.08 Mindat - Mt Victoria - Kanpatlet
Morning depart from Mindat to the base camp on Mt Victoria to trek to the summit(10,500 feet above the sea level). Pass through virgin forest abserving wild orchids, colourful butterflies and then continue  to another base camp.
While observe the natural resources and undestroyed beauty of Mt Victoria, you will gain an opportunity to study the exotic tattooed face of Chin women, the customs and their traditions of the hill tribes of Chin state.
Transfer from that base camp to the hotel by car. Overnight in Kanpalet. Kanpalet is a small, lovely hill station situated 3000 feet above seas level.
 
Day 5 22.Feb.08 Kan Pat Let
Leisure. Explore the ways of life of Tatoo tribs who live in Kan Pat let. Overnight in Kan Pat Let.
 
Day 6 23.Feb.08 Kanpatlet - Bagan (by car)
In the morning, drive to Bagan 8hrs drive.  Overnight in Bagan.
