Naga Festival
Yangon – Mandalay – Homalin – Leshi – Homalin – Yangon (
4Nights / 5Days)
Naga Festival is one of the most attractive hill tribe festivals in
all of Myanmar.
Experience the Naga with their 20 plus tribes. Be involved with a Naga
bonfire night and taste their Naga wine which is specially brewed for
this festival. Witness their different colourful costumes including,
bone necklaces, boar tusks and beads. Come and get involved and you'll
have an experience like no other. I want you to come and experience
this still untouched and unspoiled tribe in what is still a remote
part of the world.
Day 1:Yangon – Homalin
Flight from –Yangon to Homalin. Boat cruise on
the Chindwin River, one
of the major tributaries of the Ayeyarwaddy
River to Htamanthi
Village, lunch and refreshments then Leshi by
light truck and check
into your accommodation. Overnight in Leshi.
Day 2:
Visit Naga Village and learn about their life style
and culture.
Overnight in Leshi.
Day 3:
View a traditional Naga pole being erected and witness
the Naga people
in their traditional costumes. Explore the surrounding
village and
experience their way of life. Overnight in Leshi.
 Day 4:
Up early to experience the opening ceremony of the Naga New Year. Try
traditional Naga food and wine. Watch a Naga dance competition and in
the evening welcome in the New Year with a large bonfire and lots more
dancing! Overnight in Leshi.
Day 5:Homalin - Yangon
Return flight to Yangon and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Yangon.
